Karrueche Tran is a working woman theses days! Things have been looking up for Karrueche’s solo acting career in the months since she emerged from the Breezy drama storm. We’ve already seen Kae go from acting in an internet series, to a small role on Single Ladies to made-for-tv movies and now her first starring role on a scripted television show.
According to a recent press release, Karrueche beat out over 100 other actresses to win the role of Vivian Johnson, a girl who mysteriously returns to her hometown in the upcoming scripted series Vanity. She’ll be starring alongside former Bond Girl Denise Richards.

Tyga refuses to let anyone tell him where he can bring his underage GF, Kylie Jenner … so he ignored a college’s request to keep her off campus during his concert … TMZ has learned.
Tyga performed at Cal State Fullerton’s Spring Concert this past Saturday, and according to our sources … concert organizers told him he should NOT bring 17-year-old Kylie to the show.
We’re told not only did the university find their relationship questionable, but the show was 18 and older. Tyga must have known he had the school by the balls — they couldn’t afford to bring in another act at the last minute — because he went ahead and brought her anyway.
While he was performing … she was chilling at a table full of chicken wings and other appetizers — which we’re told Tyga suddenly demanded when he arrived … an hour late.
Organizers didn’t want to risk him bailing completely …so, we’re told they just let it go.
Kylie’s presence didn’t go unnoticed by the students, with one tweeting, “CSUF said guests must be 18 or over to enter spring concert but Tyga brought Kylie as his guest.”
As we reported … Tyga ran into the same situation during a gig in November, but opted to boycott the club. The couple put their age issues aside Monday as they flew out of LAX — airlines don’t care if he travels with a minor.

WTF is up with these cops in Baltimore?!

An Anne Arundel County police officer faces an assault charge after he bit another man’s testicles in a fight over a woman on Cinco de Mayo, according to charging documents released by police Wednesday.
Baltimore City police officers were called in the area of the 700 block of South Linwood and 2900 block of O’Donnell Street for an assault call around 11:47 p.m. Tuesday.
According to charging documents, a man told police he was assaulted by two men, one of whom bit his testicles in the alley behind Looney’s Pub in the 2900 block of O’Donnell Street.
A woman approached the responding officers to tell them she witnessed the fight, according to charging documents. Police said she gave description of the attacker who was wearing a blue and white polo shirt and cargo shorts. She told the police she waited at the front door of the Claddaugh Pub at 2918 O’Donnell St. for police arrive as she had seen the attacker walk in there, according charging documents.
According to the charging documents, police said Michael Flaig, 31, was found on the second floor of the bar with blood stains on his shirt and appeared inebriated.
Ok, so, what the hell happened??
Police learned that Flaig and another man jumped the victim outside the bar after the victim confronted Flaig about his touching his friend and roommate — a woman.
The victim told police that during the altercation Flaig bit his testicle and ran off. Police said they were unable to find the second man involved in the attack.
Flaig is being charged with second-degree assault.
How the hell do you bite a man’s sack through his pants??? Maybe this cop has had some practice with balls in his mouth before.

Stephen A. Smith took a lot of heat on ESPN’s oft-controversial First Take several weeks ago when he questioned Chip Kelly’s rationale for cutting and or trading the Philadelphia Eagles’ best players, all of whom were African-American. Smith’s point was that Riley Cooper, who had been recorded threatening to kill “every n***er in here” at a Kenny Chesney concert, was still allowed to play for the team while black players who were far superior to him in skill, were summarily dismissed.
One of those players, LeSean McCoy, seems to have some of the same questions Stephen A. does…

Bills running back LeSean McCoy hasn’t been shy about expressing his distaste for Chip Kelly.
After McCoy said in April that he didn’t believe his former coach “likes or respects the stars” on Philly’s roster, Shady took it a step further in an interview with ESPN The Magazine.
“The relationship was never really great,” McCoy said of Kelly. “I feel like I always respected him as a coach. I think that’s the way he runs his team. He wants the full control. You see how fast he got rid of all the good players. Especially all the good black players. He got rid of them the fastest. That’s the truth. There’s a reason. … It’s hard to explain with him. But there’s a reason he got rid of all the black players — the good ones — like that.”
The Eagles declined to comment on McCoy’s statements when reached by NFL Media.
“Oh, man. People have heard it,” said McCoy, when asked if other players shared his view on Kelly. “I mean … (ESPN’s) Stephen A. Smith has talked about it. Other players have talked about it. But that’s one of the things where you don’t even care no more. I’m on a new team, ready to play. So it’s nothing to do with Chip. I have no hatred toward him, nothing to say negative about him. When he got (to Philadelphia), I didn’t know what to expect. When he let DeSean go last year, I was like: ‘C’mon. DeSean Jackson?’ So it is what it is.”
To Chip Kelly’s credit:
While Kelly has dispatched his share of star players, he filled McCoy’s spot with both DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews before using a first-round pick on wideout Nelson Agholor [ed. note All the aforementioned players are black]. Those moves and others during Kelly’s tenure don’t exactly support McCoy’s claims.

I feel like we have a bunch of gold diggers on the show, so it’d be great if we found somebody really looking for love.”
She keeps saying this, but each of the casts in the “Housewives” franchise have some single women on them who aren’t necessarily putting dating in the forefront. Do you think it’s really necessary for an interesting show for all the cast members to be attached to men in some way??
NeNe also insists that the focus this season was to come for her neck:
“I felt attacked. All season I felt like a lot of the girls were coming for me, but I’m not surprised by that. I’ve been there since day one, lot of girls are gonna come for me, I’m a threat and it’s to be expected, I’m a strong woman, I can handle it. I don’t necessarily like it, but can handle it.”

The NYPD just busted the gang-affiliated kingpin of a gun-running ring…and his nickname is “Wobbles” for good reason. Via NYPost:
A 550-pound Bronx gangster — nicknamed “Wobbles” — and his ring of nine gun runners were busted for smuggling dozens of weapons into the Big Apple on Metro-North trains, authorities said Wednesday.
The heavy-duty hustle was thwarted after William “Wobbles” Soler, 33, and his crew allegedly sold 93 guns to an undercover cop, according to a 367-count felony indictment filed in Bronx Supreme Court on Wednesday.
Soler — who posed shirtless, clutching guns in photos — and his cohorts bought the weapons on the street in Westchester, Maine and Connecticut last year, according to state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. They stuffed them in suitcases before boarding the trains, and once in the Big Apple they flipped the firearms — including .22 caliber guns and semiautomatic rifles — for “several times” their original price, authorities said.
Soler — a tattooed member of the Bloods gang — was also nabbed for conspiracy to commit murder for plotting to kill rival gang members, authorities said.
Even his defense attorney, Brian Sullivan, admitted the charges were “pretty large-scale.”
They’re petty for that last line. Either way, this gun-runner might want to dedicate this massive jail time he’s about to get to some actual running. We hear it’s rough in the big house for super-sized people…

Well, this is one way to get extra attention for HIV/AIDS. Via ChicagoTribune:
To make a big point, a small Austrian men’s magazine printed an entire edition using ink laced with HIV-positive blood. The idea, said Julian Wiehl, co-publisher of The Vangardist — a “progressive” magazine aimed at young, urban men — was to make a statement about the stigma still associated with the virus that no one could ignore.
I think you’ll agree they succeeded, wildly.
“If you see the magazine . . . the first question that comes to your mind is, ‘Would I touch it? Would I take it in my hands?'” Wiehl said in an interview. “And the second question is, ‘Why would I touch it?’ or ‘Why wouldn’t I touch it?'”
From a health and safety perspective, picking up the magazine is not a problem. As we’ve known for many years, the human immunodeficiency virus quickly dies outside the body and can only be transmitted by direct contact with body fluids, mainly blood and semen. To be doubly sure, and to kill any other pathogens, Vangardist autoclaved the HIV-positive blood obtained from three donors before mixing it with the red ink used to print the magazine. The ink used in all 3,000 copies of the printed edition is 1 part blood to 28 parts ink, Wiehl said. There also is some blue ink to highlight its “Heroes of HIV” theme.
The magazine comes in a sealed wrapper, forcing the reader to “break the seal to break the stigma,” Wiehl said. To avoid violating laws that govern transport of blood or blood products across borders, the edition can be ordered only online.
Definitely a bold way to call attention to the stigma. Would you pick one up and read it?
