Ashley Graham Says She Got Her First Lingerie Modeling Job At Age 14

While many designers, some modelling agencies, and even Vogue magazine have pledged in recent years not to work with models under the age of 16, plus-size model Ashley Graham, 27, says she’s been working since well before that cut-off age – and in her underwear, no less.

One of the stars of Lane Bryant’s new I’m No Angel campaign, the size 16 bombshell recently revealed to Yahoo Style that she’s been stripping down to her skivvies since she was 14.

‘My first job ever was lingerie,’ she says. ‘My mom had to sign a petition that said they would airbrush my nipples out.’

Now in her late 20s, the Nebraska native has made a career of flaunting her voluptuous curves, becoming a regular in plus-size retailer Lane Bryant’s ads and making history as the first plus-size model to appear in Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue – but there are plenty of other descriptions she prefers over the term ‘plus-size’.

‘I like curvaceous, sexy, gorgeous hunk o’ woman,’ she says.

AskMen readers seem to agree; the site ranked her number 11 on its list of Outstanding Women of 2015.

Queen Of Tax Fraud Says She Stole Money Because Of Bad Childhood

We reported last year on mother of three, Rashia Wilson, who bragged on social media after tole about $20 million from the IRS, had been jailed for 21 years. The Fraud Queen recently opened up about how she fell into the life of crime and how she’s trying to better her life now…

Rashia Wilson denies that she grew up to dub herself the queen of tax refund fraud on Facebook.

But she did enjoy the Audi, the big TV, the house, the parties and feeling special over a $2,000 Louis Vuitton bag, a lifestyle she maintained by stealing the identities of scores of victims.

“It feels good not to be that little girl at the beginning of the school year wearing the same dirty clothes and shoes from last year,” she said in an interview with the Tampa Bay Times, the first since her 2012 federal arrest.

“And, basically, to be able to buy everybody shoes.”

Wilson, a 29-year-old mother of three, may be the most vilified beneficiary of stolen-identity tax-refund fraud in the region. A judge recently sentenced her to 21 years at the urging of federal lawyers who said she publicly bragged about claiming tax refunds in other people’s names.

“Such behavior requires a significant sentence in order to provide a deterrent effect to others who might seek to emulate the defendant,” prosecutor Sara Sweeney told U.S. District Judge James S. Moody Jr.

The 21-year term was one the stiffest penalties to grow out of such investigations nationally. Wilson’s co-defendant, Maurice Larry, who spent tax money to chrome plate a Camaro, got 141/2 years. The U.S. Attorney’s Office considered Wilson a tax-fraud leader and organizer; not so for Larry.

No jury heard the evidence because both took plea deals, but investigators reported finding thousands of names and Social Security numbers.

Prosecutors said Wilson and Larry tried to steal at least $11 million and succeeded in taking at least $3.1 million. In a plea agreement, they admitted to theft of $2.24 million.

Cop Who Shot Eric Harris Charged With Second Degree Manslaughter

Tulsa County reserve deputy Bob Bates has been charged with manslaughter in the death of Eric Harris. Bates, 73, shot and killed Harris during an undercover gun deal April 2, 2015.

Via News On 6 reports:

Harris became suspicious during the undercover sting and ran from police, according to Tulsa County Major Shannon Clark. Deputies took him to the ground during a struggle, and that’s when Bates shot the 44-year-old man.

Bates thought he had pulled a stun gun, rather than his firearm when he shot Harris, according to sheriff’s office investigators.

“Mr. Bates is charged with Second-Degree Manslaughter involving culpable negligence,” said District Attorney Stephen Kunzweiler.

“Oklahoma law defines culpable negligence as ‘the omission to do something which a reasonably careful person would do, or the lack of the usual ordinary care and caution in the performance of an act usually and ordinarily exercised by a person under similar circumstances and conditions,’” Kunzweiler said.

“The defendant is presumed to be innocent under the law but we will be prepared to present evidence at future court hearings,” he said.

North West Gets Baptized In Jerusalem

Just hours after making a huge splash in Armenia with a surprise outdoor concert, Kanye West packed up his fam and flew over to the Holy Land to officially make daughter North an official Christian.

Kanye, Kim and Khloe all took North over to the St. James Cathedral, a many centuries-old Armenian church in Jerusalem, to have Nori baptized.

As Armenian Church Archbishop Aris Shirvanian told Mail Online, “Kim Kardashian’s daughter will be baptized and become a Christian officially and a member of the Armenian church.” Apparently he had no idea why everyone was freaking out on the church steps. “All I know is that she’s a famous personality. I don’t know her in person. In any case she is welcome with her family.”

According to E! News:

So who did Kim name as Nori’s godmother? Little sister Khloé Kardashian, of course! The insider tells us that Khloé acted as godmother during the baptism and the priest acted as North’s godfather (this is a common practice when there isn’t one). After being baptized, the whole family emerged from the church around 6:30 p.m. local time.

After the special ceremony, Kim and hubby Kanye West, Khloé and North all had dinner with Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat.

Mom Who Left Quadriplegic Son In The Woods Charged With Murder

Police added attempted murder to the list of charges against the mother of a quadriplegic man who was left in the woods for days, Philadelphia police spokeswoman Christine O’Brien said Tuesday.

Nyia Parler cannot be extradited to face the charges in Philadelphia until she completes an unspecified “treatment,” Maryland police said Monday. When she does arrive, she will be charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and related offenses, in addition to the attempted murder count, O’Brien said.

The Montgomery County (Maryland) Department of Police took Parler, 41, into custody Sunday after Philadelphia police reported that she left her 21-year-old son in the woods while she hopped a bus to see her boyfriend in Maryland. A man walking through the woods found him Friday “lying in leaves, covered in a blanket with a Bible and a wheelchair nearby,” Philadelphia police say.

Citing federal health care privacy laws, Montgomery County police spokesman Capt. Paul Starks said he could not divulge why Parler was receiving treatment, but he said she had to complete it before she could be extradited.

She remained in treatment as of Tuesday morning, Starks told CNN.

If she chooses not to challenge her extradition, she will be transported to Philadelphia once the treatment is complete, he said.

We hope they lock this mom up for life!!!

Celebrity Deathmatch Returning To MTV

MTV‘s Celebrity Deathmatch is coming back to a TV near you….

MTV has transformed into a muddy web of trashy reality shows (Teen Mom, anyone?), but the network is planning to go back to its roots — thanks to the return of Celebrity Deathmatch! The Hollywood Reporter revealed today (April 14) that the claymation television series will be revived on MTV2.

The original series ran for 75 episodes on MTV from 1998-2002, and the show’s creator Eric Fogel and Wasteland Entertainment are behind the new version. Chris McCarthy and Paul Ricci also on board as executive producers, THR reports. The series will continue to take notes from pop culture, but plans to use social media as influence in order to spark some intense Twitter wars. There are definitely many options to choose from: Lady Gaga vs. Madonna, Kanye West vs. Taylor Swift, Rihanna vs. Ciara, Beyonce vs. Keri Hilson, Iggy Azalea vs. The World…the list could go on forever!

Along with the Celebrity Deathmatch revival, MTV2 has also picked up two new series: Kingin’ With Tyga and Uncommon Sense With Charlamagne tha God.

Veteran Says Suicide Hotline Put Him On Hold

An Air Force veteran is making national headlines after he called a suicide hotline MULTIPLE times and was put on hold for up to 10 minutes.

ABC Action News reports:

He put himself in danger to protect our country, but when he needed help to save his own life all he got was a recorded message.

Ted Koran was thinking about committing suicide Saturday night.

He reached out to the VA and the Veterans Suicide Hotline for help, but said he couldn’t get any until after he was repeatedly put on hold for up to 10 minutes at time.

He said the 60 rescue animals he cares for are the only reason he’s here today.

“My wife and I saved them, and they saved me,” Tom Koran said.

Late Saturday night, he had an emotional breakdown.

The U.S. Air Force veteran first called the James Haley VA Center in Tampa, where a recording gave him the 800 number to the hotline.

Koran said he was placed on hold for 10 minutes.

“I had to sit there patiently, in emotional distress, in tears, wanting to give up, desperately needing someone to talk to,” Koran said.

Koran said he hung up and redialed the number two more times.

“They had me on the [verge] of saying to hell with it,” he said.

Koran said when he actually reached a counselor, she did very little to comfort him.

A Scripps national investigation recently uncovered that calls to the veterans hotline often overloaded the system and had to be rerouted to other call centers, while vets’ calls were placed on hold.

One veteran recorded being on hold 36 minutes.

The VA is hoping new technology and more funding from Congress allow them to fix all of the problems at the hotline within the next six months.

Wow this is so messed up.

Luckily Ted pulled himself together in time but what about other veterans who aren’t so lucky?????

Man Beats Toddler To Death Over Diaper Accident

We’ve said it before and will say so again…moms REALLY have to be careful when letting these new boyfriends watch their children! An Illinois man attacked his girlfriend’s toddler son for doing something extremely common among kids that age. Via MailOnline:

A 23-year-old man beat his girlfriend’s 18-month-old son to death for urinating him as he changed the boy’s diaper, according to police.

Martin Alvarado Jr., from Cicero, Illinois, appeared in court on Monday on a first-degree murder charge for the death of Edwin Eli O’Reilly and has been ordered to be held without bail.

He was watching Edwin at their home in Cicero last Thursday when the toddler urinated on him during a diaper change, according to authorities.

Enraged, Alvarado allegedly repeatedly hit the little boy.

Police and paramedics responded to the home following a call about an unresponsive child and Edwin was rushed to MacNeal Hospital in Berywn, where he later died.

During questioning, Alvarado allegedly confessed to the assault on videotape, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Another, older child at the home was taken in by the Department of Children and Family Services.

SMH!! Everyone isn’t cut out to deal with children.
