Meet The Characters: Senior Researcher Dalton Abramowicz Is The Golden Boy Of BossipTV
No office would be complete with out an in-house golden boy. Drenched in the scent of Ivy League degrees, old money, and cuff links, this BossipTV character doesn’t let his workplace shortcomings get in the way of his longterm goals.
Meet Dalton Abramowicz.
Dalton Abramowicz is a 28-year-old Senior Researcher. He is a Yale graduate and heir to his father’s Brooklyn bagel fortune. He wants to make his own money and not rely on his inheritance, so he’s the definite overachiever in the bunch. His background did not prepare him to be the butt of most of the jokes at the Bossip office, but he keeps his eyes on the prize and is never discouraged by his coworker’s antics. He is in love with Gabrielle and secretly thinks that if he can convince her he’s just one of the guys, it will be the first successful step in his master plan to get her to convert to Judaism and eventually become his bride. Sean sees Dalton as someone she can rely on, and Dalton in turn strives to impress Sean on a daily basis.

Teacher Calls Lincoln A N-Word Lover
A racist California teacher whose made a series of disparaging remarks in his classroom isn’t getting sued, but the school district who has yet to fire him is.
A Brentwood parent is suing the school district, charging that a male teacher made offensive and racially charged comments in his class in front of and focused on his biracial daughter.
The suit alleges civil-rights violations and seeks unspecified damages as well as a court order directing that the Los Angeles Unified School District provide accommodations to students “free from prohibited discrimination.”
The plaintiff is under 18 and is half black and half white, according to the suit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. She started Paul Revere School two years ago as a seventh-grade student and selected the campus because of its racial and socioeconomic diversity, according to the complaint.
Early this year, the student was assigned to an eighth-grade history class taught by Steven Carnine. On Jan. 16, the day after the birthdayof slain civil-rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., Carnine handed out a questionnaire that asked about racial stereotypes, according to the plaintiff.
During a follow-up discussion, Carnine brought up the shooting of Brown by former officer Darren Wilson.
“In discussing the incident, Carnine said that the guy was a thug and he got what he deserved,” according to the suit, which alleges that theteacher also said: “Black people are judged for not being smart because they are not smart. A lot of them are just athletes.”
Carnine went on to say that if he was walking alone at night and there were two black men behind him, he was “immediately going to be scared and think they are either going to steal from me or hurt me,” the lawsuit alleges.The girl’s father complained to Principal Christopher Perdigao, who replied that Carnine was “old school” and that the best way to
solve the issue was to try and meet with him, the suit alleges.However, that same day, Carnine, during a lecture on the Civil War, stated that “people didn’t like Lincoln because he was a (N-word) lover,” the complaint alleges. Carnine was “staring and smirking” at the plaintiff when he made the remark, according to the suit.

A McDonald’s customer was ‘disgusted’ when she discovered what appeared to be covered in beard trimmings in her McMuffin.
April Gilmour, 24 from Kilmarnock, had already eaten half of the breakfast snack when she noticed the thick short dark hairs.
The furious mother-of-two said she felt ‘sick to her stomach’ after making the gruesome discovery and posted a picture of the hairy sausage and egg McMuffin on Facebook on Wednesday which has now been shared more than 600 times.
She wrote on Facebook: ‘This was my sausage and egg McMuffin from McDonald’s in Kilmarnock this morning.
‘I had eaten half of it and opened it up to put more sauce in and noticed it was full of hair shavings. Disgusting!
‘The manager told me they operate a clean shave policy – well clearly some wee radge has shaved all over their uniform and it’s fell into my breakfast.’
The beautician added: ‘It’s obviously an accident but I feel sick to my stomach thinking about it.’
We’re sure some of you swirly brothas would love to put your facial hair on April’s “McMuffin”…SMH
Also, she seems MIGHTY confident that this was just an “accident”. We’re just sayin’…it’s not like the fast food industry always hires the most scrupulous of individuals.

Despite playing for three other franchises throughout his 14-year NBA career, Allen Iverson fondly refers to himself as a ‘Sixer for life.’ Now, with his number hanging from the Wells Fargo Center rafters and his playing days clearly behind him, ‘The Answer’ wants to continue his affiliation with the franchise that made him the first overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft.
Appearing in the broadcast booth with Marc Zumoff and Malik Allen on Wednesday night, Iverson revealed that he would like to join the Sixers front office.
“I have a relationship with these fans like no other. And with this city and with this organization,” Iverson explained of his ties to Philadelphia.
“Anything I can do to help, I’m here.”
The conversation then turned to Iverson’s post-retirement plans, and if he would like to remain around the game, potentially in a front office capacity.
“I would like to be even in that war room,” Iverson replied. “Even if they don’t go with my decision or whatever, just to have an opinion and putting out what I think and trusting the organization to do what’s right.”
In all seriousness, if anyone is qualified to give their opinion on basketball players it’s A.I. Can’t think of another NBA player with as much heart as him. He deserves a job within the game.

Oklahoma Mayoral Candidate Defends Dressing Up As A Black Woman
Another case of “innocent” black face gone wrong.

An Elk City mayoral candidate is at the center of controversy after several YouTube videos were shared around town.
In the video, Bill Helton, an Elk City commissioner and mayoral candidate, is seen dressing up as a black woman called “Pollyester Kotton.”
Some say it is racist and offensive, but others don’t see anything wrong with the character.
Helton, who is also a hair stylist, says Kotton’s character was born at the beauty shop.
“The character came about from one of my clients, who was African-American, from Texas,” Helton said.
With his client’s help, Helton says he transformed into Kotton.
He has acted as her at numerous community events, raising money for people in need.
The last fundraiser was in 2013.
“We filled the house and raised over 20-something-thousand dollars for three families in need,” Helton said.
Helton says the character was never intended to be offensive.
“Anyone that’s offended, I would sit down and talk to them. Because my heart is, I would never do that and want to help whoever I can help,” Helton said.
“If they were offended, then I apologize because that was never my intent, never my heart, to set out to offend someone,” Helton said
Anthony R. Douglas, President of the Oklahoma State Conference NAACP, says the use of black face crosses the line.
“Yes, this is a character. Men playing women or a woman playing a man is not new and can be very funny. But in black face? Have we learned nothing at all? This ‘character’ could have been just as effective done without the black face makeup and would be far less offensive,” Douglas said.
SMH. Why is it so hard for people to just leave the black face alone?

M.I.A. has never been one to bite her tongue and now she’s revealed in a new Rolling Stone interview that she had a rather icy encounter with Oprah Winfrey – which included being called a “terrorist.”
The rapper recall meeting Oprah at Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World Gala in 2009, during which she tried to engage the media mogul in a discussion about the civil war in her native Sri Lanka.
“‘Hey, people are gonna f—ing die in my country. Like, please pay attention,’” she recalled telling the talk show host. “And she was like, ‘You’re s–t because you were rude to Lady Gaga and I’m not talking to you. And I’m gonna interview Tom Cruise jumping on my sofa, so f–k off.’”
She continues:
She shut me down. She took that photo of me, but she was just like, ‘I can’t talk to you because you’re crazy and you’re a terrorist. And I’m like, ‘I’m not. I’m a Tamil and there are people dying in my country and you have to like look at it because you’re f—ing Oprah and every American told me you’re going to save the world.’
M.I.A.’s interview is meant to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of her debut album “Arular.”
