Expectant Mother In Houston Robbed While Going To Deliver Her Baby

The civilized world is coming to an end.

A woman was robbed Tuesday morning as she was leaving her southwest Houston home to go have a baby.

“I was like, ‘Please don’t kill me. I don’t want to die today. I want to have a baby,'” said the woman who didn’t want to be identified.

At nine months pregnant, the mother of two was headed to the hospital around 4am to be induced. Her spouse and aunt were in the car with her.

“I heard someone tell my aunt to get out of the car,” the victim said. “I looked up and someone had a gun to her head.”

There were four suspects.

“Their faces were covered, all but one of them,” she said.

The victim says after rummaging through their car, the suspects ordered everyone inside the family’s house, all while other family members, including three children, where upstairs.

Crazy as this is, these savages weren’t done terrorizing people just yet…

Houston police say about an hour and a half later, one of suspects showed up to a Family Dollar parking, ditched the car, robbed a security guard of his wallet, then stole his Honda SUV.

Meanwhile the scared pregnant mother hopes the suspects are caught soon.

“I’m supposed to bring a baby home to this?” she asked.

Houston police say the security guard was not hurt. The suspects took purses, wallets and cash from the family’s rented car, but authorities say they left the baby’s car seat in the vehicle.

Robbing pregnant women and stealing their baby stuff? That’s what’s hot in the streets??? SMMFH.

I have a story to tell that I am sure you have heard before, but I need advice. I am 22 years old with 3 children under the age of six.

My children’s father and I have been together on and off for 7 years. We have been consistent these last 3 years despite the ups and downs. He cheated on me about a year and a half ago with a co-worker and it crushed me. I forgave him and tried to move on.

About three months ago, I found nude pics of a girl in his phone. First, he lied and said they were from an “adult” website, but then he confessed and said there were from another co-worker. SMH!

Of course after arguing, and all, I forgave him….again. Now, he has been texting another female co-worker and expects me to believe that they are just friends. How could I? He says that I need to start building back trust for him, but how? Am I being insecure or is he trying to play me? I have never cheated on him and it hurts knowing he can cheat on me.

The other part of my issue is marriage. He doesn’t even want to discuss it. It’s like taboo in our household. He says he will marry me, but he is waiting for the right time. But, if that’s the case why can’t we talk about it. I just don’t know what to do. I love him, but what do you do when love isn’t enough? – Young, Dumb, and in Love

And, here we go, again!

This story and this situation never gets old. No matter how much I address this situation, many women will always find themselves in this predicament with the hopes that their man will do the right thing, and their man will eventually wake up and see how good of a woman they are.

You’re 22 years old and already have three children with a man who is silly, childish, and immature. You’re 22 years old with three children by some middle school crush, who has no desire to marry you, will never marry you, nor will he even settle down and be serious with you.

If he’s the same age, or around the same age, then know this, he is sowing his young oats. He is running the streets and doing him because he doesn’t want to be trapped, and held back from exploring life as a young, dumb, and full of c** young buck who feels there is a plethora of women to explore his freedom. He’s a kid in a candy store. And, he’s doing this –ish at work, and trying to screw any and everything moving.

So, no, you can’t trust him. He cheated with a co-worker in the past, and he had nude photos from another. Therefore, the newest co-worker he is texting and claiming they are friends, well, Ms. Honey, come on….please don’t be this naïve. You know what’s going on. There is a pattern. He is habitual and he keeps doing the same thing over and over again. He’s the dumba** to think no one can follow his damn dumb trail of evidence.

They are not friends. He is cheating. He will sleep with her, if he hasn’t already. Therefore, don’t trust him. Don’t believe any of his lies. Save yourself the aggravation, headache, drama, and stress.

The sad part is that he has helped to create three children with you, but he’s not owning up to his part as a father, a parent, or partner. He’s made you and your life unappealing for many suitors, and trust and believe he doesn’t care about you, your children, and what’s he’s done to your life. Hell, he will get you pregnant again, and then he will leave you with those children. And, you will be stuck trying to figure out how to care for them alone, and fighting with him for child support payments.

He’s not going to marry you. NEVER! EVER! I’ve said it time and time again, if a man wants to be with a woman, and he really wants to make her his wife, then he would do it. He is not going to wait for the “perfect time. Or, waiting for the right time.” He will do what he has to do to get that woman and to make her his wife, his partner, his long-time companion. You and he are still middle school crushes trapped together, and you are now adults trapped in a situation bond together by children. And, get this, and understand this, and he may not say this, but he feels trapped in this situation with you, and he resents you and his children. He’d rather be hanging out with his friends, running the streets, screwing as many women as possible, but he can’t because you have him bound at home and want him to be a family, a father, and a husband. He doesn’t want that. He’s avoiding you, the conversation, and the possibility of forever being committed to a situation he really doesn’t want.

Now, you can fool yourself all day long, and you can sit there and hope he will change, he will see the light, and he will become monogamous and faithful. But, his track record fails him every time. You’ve got to save yourself, and your children. You’re young and you have a full life ahead of you. You need an education. You need something to build your own life, and, you’ve got to get your own and not be bound to a man who doesn’t want to be with you, or continue in this rut with someone who is not going to provide a stable living situation for you and your children.

You can do it, but, it’s going to be a long journey. It’s going to be a lot of hard days, rough days, and days it will seem impossible, but you can do it. Or, you can stay in this situation, continue the back and forth with him, and his cheating, lying, and constant promises of “someday I’ll marry you.” You’ll look up and you’ll be 30 years old with six children, a man who’s still doing the same thing he was doing 10 years ago – finding texts, emails, calls, and nude photos and videos of women, and you will still be waiting on him to marry you. Get out of this relationship. Find some resources, as there are plenty of programs for women like yourself, and begin building and doing for you and your children. Get back in school, find a church, and some positive role models. If you want this situation to change, it is going to depend on you, and not him. He’s is your downfall. – Terrance Dean

Looks like while Kanye West has been busy being a “N**** in Paris” he’s gotten a lil reckless with his personal items. According to long-time friend and G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Malik Yusef, Ye has hired some top notch gumshoes to track down his laptop that has mysteriously gone missing.

Kelly Osbourne Says Working With Joan Rivers Was Incredible

Kelly Osbourne stayed gracious during her first interview since leaving E!’s “Fashion Police” over the way they handled Giuliana Rancic’s distasteful commentary about Zendaya’s locs.

In an appearance Tuesday on her mom Sharon Osbourne‘s daytime show “The Talk,” Kelly said, “You know what? It was the five best working years of my life.”

“I am so grateful for the experience. Working with Joan Rivers for five years was incredible. I learned so much and … I’m excited for my future now. I want to try a new thing.”

On Feb. 27, Osbourne announced her departure as co-host of the E! show just days after co-panelist Giuliana Rancic angered viewers with her comments about actress Zendaya‘s Oscar-night dreadlocks. Rancic, 40, later apologized.

Sources told Page Six Osbourne was fuming at how E! handled the flap.

Osbourne also expressed her outrage on Twitter, as did her famous father, Ozzy Osbourne.

Kathy Griffin replaced Rivers as the show’s host after the comedian died in September. Stylist Brad Goreski also joined the panel this season, replacing George Kotsiopoulos.

The show is slated to return March 30, though no replacement for Osbourne has been named. E! reality starlet Khloé Kardashian‘s name has been tossed around, as have those of Nene Leakes and Kristin Cavallari.

That was really big of Kelly… And we’d imagine she probably didn’t want to do the show much anyway once Joan Rivers was no longer part of it. Let’s be honest, working with Kathy Griffin, Giuliana Rancic AND Brad Goreski doesn’t seem like the the fun time she had with Joan and George.

Big ups to Kelly for taking a stand for her beliefs and best of luck in her future endeavors. We’re excited to see what she does next too!

Transit CEO In Baton Rouge Says Black Drivers Keep Whites From Riding Bus

Bob Mirabito, CEO of Baton Rouge’s Capital Area Transit System (CATS), apologized this week after asserting that buses were not being used by white passengers because there were not enough white drivers.

During an interview last week, podcaster Clay Young had asked Mirabito how he handled the “racial divide” at CATS after taking over the CEO job.

“CATS is actually 95 percent African-American,” Mirabito explained, according to The Advocate. “And unfortunately our demographics don’t match Baton Rouge.”

“I would love to have a workforce that matches the demographics of Baton Rouge because I think there are some people out there who may not ride CATS buses because they don’t like the color of an operator’s skin.”

“That is a shame,” he added. “As long as everybody does their job, that’s all I care about.”

Obviously, the black leadership in Baton Rouge ain’t goin’ for it.

Metro Councilman John Delgado told The Advocate that Mirabito should be fired if he refused to apologize for his comments.

“If that’s his assessment of the potential ridership of Baton Rouge, then he’s an idiot and needs to be fired,” Delgado argued. “It’s obscene. I find it offensive.”

However, Councilwoman C. Denise Marcelle said that it was too late for apologies.

“If the board and my colleague who chairs the board sits there and allows that, we’ve got a real problem,” Marcelle insisted.

First they don’t want us sitting in the front of the bus, now they don’t even want to ride it. SMH.

Secret Service Agents Crash Into White House Barricades

SMH…the Secret Service still just can’t get right.

The Washington Post reports:

The Obama administration is investigating allegations that two senior Secret Service agents, including a top member of the president’s protective detail, drove a government car into White House security barricades after drinking at a late-night party last week, an agency official said Wednesday.

Officers on duty who witnessed the March 4 incident wanted to arrest the agents and conduct sobriety tests, according to a current and a former government official familiar with the incident. But the officers were ordered by a supervisor on duty that night to let the agents go home, said these people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive internal matter.

The episode presents an early test for the Secret Service’s new director, Joseph P. Clancy, who was appointed by Obama last month after a string of security lapses at the White House and other embarrassing missteps and had vowed to restore the agency’s once-stellar reputation.

An administration official said that in “recent days,” the White House had been “made aware of the allegations and the steps being taken by the Secret Service to ensure that the incident is thoroughly investigated.”

The agents under investigation are Mark Connolly, the second-in-command on Obama’s detail, and George Ogilvie, a senior supervisor in the Washington field office.

Through the Secret Service spokesman, Connolly and Ogilvie declined to comment.

Remember when they had that overhaul of SS agents after they picked up prostitutes and then they alleged that the President was at risk because of racism???

Dear Bossip,

I met my husband two years ago in a bar and I picked him up. I was smitten.

He had a good job. He was a full-time dad and was very stable, ethical, and kind. I think I fell in love with his daughter first. She is beautiful inside and out. She’s smart, sweet, and she was kind of my lil mini-me.

Everything I did she wanted to do. I was the first woman who spent any time with her and while she always knew I wasn’t her mom she tried to call me that many times. I always stopped her. I didn’t want to take anything from her. I love my mom and no one can hold a candle to her.

I’m still in love with both of them as I ever was, but I’ll never be her mom unless her mom gives up her prenatal right, and that’s never gonna happen. My husband says there was never drama before we first started dating. As a matter of fact, she took no interest in my step-daughter’s life until I came along. Well, maybe a weekend every few months, but that was the most time she wanted.

Now, she is demanding more time and my husband is more than okay with this. Besides, I like having time to spend just with him. The problem comes in when her mom is a no-show. My husband doesn’t want to deal with the police for my step-daughter’s sake. He wants to keep things civil, and he wants her to know her mom. So, when she was late for pick-ups he allowed her to get his daughter anyway. She was late dropping her off and he said nothing. I don’t get involved. She has threatened me a lot and while I’m not scared, I refuse to deal with it. So, I cut her out. I changed my number. I blocked her on Facebook, and I always tell her when she tries to talk on drop-offs and pick-ups, or at school events that I am unmotivated to have any conversation with her and my husband can handle any concern she has.

She recently found out I was pregnant with my first child, and I’m so happy! I want a boy to round out this family of mine. She keeps my step-daughter days longer than the agreement allows. She wouldn’t respond to my husband and left us waiting in a parking lot for hours when he went to pick my step-daughter. My husband is at his wits in. My step-daughter missed school and had to make up loads of work once we did pick up her up.

Her mother tried to pull me out of the car and started saying, “F**k you! F**k your husband, and f**k your baby!”

I had 911 on the phone in one second, and then I hit her in the face with my shoe. My husband pulled her off of me .The police said we should avoid one another. No one was arrested. My husband wanted to press charges, but how can I do that to my step-daughter. She saw it all and that’s bad enough. She was crying shaking and scared. I was the one hugging her. Her mother kept mouthing off.

I can avoid her mostly, but I have to deal with her being around from time to time. I won’t walk out of my step-daughter’s life. I have never tried to be her mom. My only goal is to be the best female influence I can be. How do I move forward? – Step Mother Blues

Dear Ms. Step Mother Blues,

Well, the first step in being a positive female influence is not to be fighting in front of your step-dauther. The hell you and her mother fighting in front of the child, and you’re pregnant!

The reason it escalated is because your husband refuses to step up, put his foot down, and stop letting her do whatever she wants. He doesn’t put her in her place, and he doesn’t check her when it comes to your step-daughter. He is too busy trying to appease her, and he doesn’t want any type of confrontation. Well, you see where this has gotten you. She feels she can do and say anything she wants, and she’s all up in your face and yelling and screaming like some damn fool.

You should have popped her in her damn mouth! (No, you shouldn’t. LOL!)

Look, if you have already cut her off, changed your number, blocked her on Facebook, and told her to deal with your husband when it comes to their child, then, I would recommend that you should not be doing the drive-bys during the pick-ups and drop-offs. Let him handle it. And, if she is violating the conditions of these arrangements, then he should be documenting all of this, and he should go back to court and present it to the judge. He has to stop being afraid of her, and letting her intimidate him and his family. I swear these folks and their attempts to work things out on their own always end in disaster. That is why you have family court. That is why you have a mediator. That is why he should arrange for supervised visits. That is why he needs to stop being spineless and nutless and get some hair on his chest, and let his nuts swing. Until then, she is going to keep running all over him, and your family.

I recommend that you get a restraining order. This will help you so that you don’t have to engage her, or she can engage you. Why respond to some wild, deranged, and silly woman who is seeking attention. Chile, get a restraining order, and let your husband present that as part of his evidence in court. It will show that she is potentially dangerous, has anger issues, and if she is willing to attack someone in front of her child, then who knows how she may manifest that anger if her child shows attention and affection toward you.

I commend you on attempting to be a great step-mother, and not trying to replace her mom. You’re right, no one can replace a parent. But, I’m sure the daughter will appreciate the fact that you provide her with lots of love, attention, and affection, and she will see the difference of how she is treated between her own mother and with you.

Finally, talk with your husband and tell him he has to take a more proactive and assertive stance with his daughter’s mother. You can let him know that you support him, and you’re there for him, but he has to set the tone for this relationship, and what the future of this arrangement will be. If he keeps allowing her to do whatever she wants, and ignore the arrangements, then, it’s no telling how far she will go. She’s dangerous. She’s threatening. She’s menacing. And, she’s volatile. He needs to stand up to her. And, he better do something soon and quick because once the police start getting involved it will become nastier and messy. – Terrance Dean

Empire is one of those shows that has plenty of people thinking it’s about them. Probably because it echoes so many horrible people in real life. Two celebrities think that Empire has taken their lives and put them on the screen. Cleveland Cav Iman Shumpert and his girlfriend Teyana Taylor think that the couple Hakeem and Tiana are based on them.

“They’re using my girl’s character, her style, her look and she’s not getting anything for it,” Shumpert said. “They didn’t even change her name. They could have at least let my girl audition for the part instead of stealing her character completely.

Drake Donates Music Studio To Philadelphia High School

Parker Rice Says SAE Chant Was Taught

Parker Rice, the bow tie clad Sigma Alpha Espilon member who led that racist chant, is apologizing for his actions.

He’s also confirming that the song is indeed a tradition that was taught within the fraternity.

Dallas News reports:

“I am deeply sorry for what I did Saturday night. It was wrong and reckless. I made a horrible mistake by joining into the singing and encouraging others to do the same. On Monday, I withdrew from the university, and sadly, at this moment our family is not able to be in our home because of threatening calls as well as frightening talk on social media.

“I know everyone wants to know why or how this happened. I admit it likely was fueled by alcohol consumed at the house before the bus trip, but that’s not an excuse. Yes, the song was taught to us, but that too doesn’t work as an explanation. It’s more important to acknowledge what I did and what I didn’t do. I didn’t say no, and I clearly dismissed an important value I learned at my beloved high school, Dallas Jesuit. We were taught to be ‘Men for Others.’ I failed in that regard, and in those moments, I also completely ignored the core values and ethics I learned from my parents and others.

He then continued and said he was worried about his fellow SAE brothers who are still enrolled in school.

“At this point, all I can do is be thoughtful and prayerful about my next steps, but I am also concerned about the fraternity friends still on campus. Apparently, they are feeling unsafe and some have been harassed by others. Hopefully, the university will protect them.

“For me, this is a devastating lesson and I am seeking guidance on how I can learn from this and make sure it never happens again. My goal for the long-term is to be a man who has the heart and the courage to reject racism wherever I see or experience it in the future.

“Thank you for your consideration of my deepest apologies for what I did.”

Boo. Hoo.

Florida Pregnant Woman Caught Drunk Driving With Kids In Car

WHAT THE HELL!? A drunk pregnant woman was caught by police with her toddler twins in the car — not in baby seats — AND she blew three times the legal limit when she was tested for her alcohol level.

According to NY Daily News reports:

A pregnant Florida woman took her 18-month-old twins on a drunken terror ride, police said.

Angel Oliver, 28, allegedly had triple the legal limit of alcohol in her system when she rear-ended a Buick on Wednesday, bouncing one of the babies onto the floor.

The young mom had argued with people in the car shortly before the crash, and a police officer though Oliver seemed out of it when she arrived to investigate.

Cops at first noticed only one of the twins — seated next to a beer can — but then the young mom reached down and pulled the second child off the floorboard of the Chevrolet SUV.

Neither of the kids had been belted into their car seats, police in Ocala said.

The children’s father showed up shortly after and went with the little ones to the hospital, where doctors looked them over for injuries.

Oliver stayed behind and bombed a pair of breath tests, recording blood-alcohol levels of .228 and .236, police said. Florida’s legal limit is .08.

She was charged with driving under the influence.

Police also called the Florida Department of Children and Families to check on the kids.

Some people REALLY should not be allowed to have children. We’re praying for these kids. Cuz they’re definitely going to need it.
