So Nasty And So Rude: Phaedra Parks Says She Understands Why People Think ‘Victim Playing’ Kenya Moore Is A Man Stealing Slore

SMH…

Remember on RHOA when Apollo Nida confessed to blatantly LYING about Kenya Moore offering to slob him down and sleep with him in L.A.????

Well on the most recent episode of “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta”, NeNe Leakes expressed that she still doesn’t believe Apollo and suspects that something really did go down between him and the beauty queen.

Now her buddy, Apollo’s estranged wife Phaedra Parks, is making a similar statement and blaming Kenya’s “disrespectful” behavior for making letting NeNe and others make that assumption.

Via BravoTV:

What did you think when NeNe said she did not believe Apollo was lying about Kenya, or, in other words, that Apollo was “lying about lying”?
Phaedra Parks: Given the circumstances, I believe that NeNe was being a very supportive friend to me. Hurt people, hurt people. And NeNe observed that Apollo was coming from a place of anger and self-inflicted pain. All in all, I think NeNe made a fair observation. She has also witnessed Kenya’s unladylike, disrespectful behavior with men so it was easy for her, and anyone else, to conclude that Kenya is not innocent. There has been so much lying and manipulation going on and it is not a constructive use of my time to keep score. In the end, it really doesn’t matter to me whether Apollo was telling the truth about what happened with Kenya. What matters to me is that I have two fine young boys who are growing up without a father, and the person I thought was going to be my life partner decided to take another path.

Kenya and Apollo PF

She then blasted Kenya for “playing victim” by breaking down into tears while discussing the matter with Kandi and noted that she (not Apollo) brought up their alleged inappropriate texts in the first place.

What did you think about Kenya’s breakdown with Kandi?
Phaedra Parks: Kenya is being Kenya; twirling on an emotional rollercoaster in an effort to gain sympathy. Playing victim is a tool of distraction people use to get others to forget the role they played in a situation. Kenya wants everyone to forget that she is the person who brought up the texts in the first place (and beat the subject to death), flaunted inappropriate, flirty behavior with numerous men, and repeatedly lied about her male suitors or lack thereof. You cannot make it so easy for people to believe salacious stories about you and then expect pity when one story may not be true.

SMH…so nasty and so rude.

Kenya has (of course) responded to the shade.

See what she had to say in her defense on the flip…

The power of the P-U-…

Homeless Man In Michigan Steal Ambulance To Go To Strip Club

Via TheOaklandPress

Frustrated with a lack of public transportation and in desperate need to reach a certain destination, a homeless man stole an ambulance from a hospital in Pontiac on Sunday.

“He told the deputy he was hoping to go to the Booby Trap to see some pole dancing,” Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said.

“You can’t make this up.”

The man, who hoped to make it to the Detroit strip club but was stopped by police in Sterling Heights, was asked why he took the ambulance.

“Apparently he said there was no public transportation available,” Bouchard said.

“Again, you can’t make this up.”

Deputies learned of the theft around 11 p.m. Sunday, when they were dispatched to the hospital in the 50 block of Perry. The ambulance had been parked at the entrance after a patient was transported to the hospital, and it was unlocked and had a cell phone inside.

Authorities located the vehicle after tracing the cell phone to an area in Sterling Heights, and Sterling Heights police officers pulled the vehicle over and arrested the suspect, who was cooperative. The ambulance was turned over to STAR EMS.

The suspect has mental health issues, according to the sheriff’s office.

Hi Hater: Members Of Congressional Black Caucus Display Of “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” Gesture Called “A Disgrace” By MSNBC Host [Video]

Black lives matter… Stop shooting us.

We’re glad to see the issue of shady police activity in Ferguson is being blasted in Congress and Black leaders aren’t afraid to show their support to the cause.

According to NY Daily News reports:

Four members of the Congressional Black Caucus did the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” gesture during remarks Monday on the House Floor, to show solidarity with protesters in Ferguson, Mo.

Reps. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Yvette Clarke (D-NY), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Tex.) and Al Green (D-Tex.), referred to the gesture that has come to symbolize the outrage over the death of Brown, the African American teen shot dead by police officer Darren Wilson in August..

“ ‘Hands up, don’t shoot’ is a rallying cry of people all across America who are fed up with police violence in … communities all across America,” Jeffries said.

Two of the members of Congress, Reps. Lee and Green, also offered their praise for the five St. Louis Rams who gave the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” signal on the field during a game Sunday night.

“I saw this clip where the Rams players came into the arena: ‘Hands up; don’t shoot’ … this has become the new symbol, a new statement,” Green said.

“I want to make sure that those who participated on the Rams team, that their names are chronicled in history… I want Kenny Britt to be recognized, Tavon Austin to be recognized, Stedman Bailey to be recognized, Jared Cook, Chris Givens, and Tre Mason.”

It’s good to see them support the Rams players, but not everyone is happy about what happened Sunday:

The decision by members of Congress to display the gesture also prompted criticism from at least one pundit on Tuesday, with MSNBC host Joe Scarborough calling it a disgrace.

“It’s a lie,” Scarborough said Tuesday on “Morning Joe,” in reference to witness statements that Michael Brown didn’t have his hands up in the air when he was shot dead.

“What is wrong with this country? What is wrong with these people? What’s wrong with these elected officials, they know it’s a lie. They know the cops didn’t shoot him with his hands in the air. They know it’s a lie and they’re doing this on that Capitol floor?”

“Unbelievable … boy that would really be moving if that were the truth,” he added.

It’s sad that there is such a divide over what’s fact and fiction. Even if Michael Brown didn’t have his hands raised it’s still an important symbol of what we are fighting against — police shooting unarmed black people!

Say It Ain’t So! Kimmy Cakes Reveals Doctors Told Her She’d Have Difficulty Getting Knocked Up

Kim ELLE UK 1

We’re sure glad Kim
proved the doctors wrong!

According to Hollywood Life reports:

In a new interview, Kim Kardashian reveals that before she got pregnant with North her doctors told her that she likely would never be able to have kids. What does this mean for baby #2?

Kim Kardashian, 34, was once told that there was little to no hope that she could ever get pregnant with her own child. Thankfully, just before she decided to take extreme measures and increase her fertility rate, she found out that she was pregnant with her daughter, North West, now 1 years old.

In a shocking new interview with ELLE UK for her January 2015 cover issue, Kim opened up about how difficult it was for her to get pregnant — and how doctors claimed it might not even be possible.

“A few years ago I was told I could never get pregnant. Three different doctors told me the same thing, which is why I wanted to have my eggs frozen. I was just about to do that when I found out I was pregnant with North.”

Although it appears that Kim does not elaborate about why doctors did not think she could get pregnant, could this mean her future of having more children is in jeopardy?

Kim has been more than open about her plans to have more children with her husband, Kanye West, but what if it’s not that easy?

During the interview Kim still seems optimistic about having more children, telling the magazine she wants both another girl and a little boy.

Hopefully Kim can still have more kids cuz that lil Nori is such a precious face!!!

Keep It 100: Chris Rock Calls Hollyweird “A White Industry,” Says California Is “A Slave State” And Says White Women Want Chop Down Action From Tyrese!!!

THR Chris Rock Cover

We really gotta go support Top Five now cuz Chris Rock has been on his real spit during this promo run.

The writer/director/producer/actor/comedian has a great essay in the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter and we’ve culled a few choice quotes below which we’d like to discuss, but make sure to read the full piece because he reveals a gang of information about how he’s gotten where he has and who he’s looking to to help him make his next moves:

Chris Rock on a scene cut from Top Five in which Kevin Hart’s character calls out being the only black agent at the agency:

“We cut it out in Top Five, but there had been a scene where Kevin Hart, who plays my character’s agent, is in his office talking to me, and he finds out that “Zoolander” (Ben Stiller) is down the hall and he’s mad because none of the agents called him. He’s the only black agent at the agency, and there was a line in the movie like, “I’m the only black agent here. They never invite me to anything, and these people are liberals. This isn’t the Klan.””

It sounds like a shame the scene was cut. That token business is the bullish, especially when it’s so-called liberals doing the excluding…

On what he describes as the racism of the ‘slave state in L.A.':

“But forget whether Hollywood is black enough. A better question is: Is Hollywood Mexican enough? You’re in L.A, you’ve got to try not to hire Mexicans. It’s the most liberal town in the world, and there’s a part of it that’s kind of racist — not racist like “F— you, ni**er” racist, but just an acceptance that there’s a slave state in L.A. There’s this acceptance that Mexicans are going to take care of white people in L.A. that doesn’t exist anywhere else.”

It’s kinda funny that L.A. doesn’t get called out for this more often. People treat California like it’s Benetton or something and forget about the way Mexicans are treated.

On his thoughts that the “hot” guy role in Hollywood goes to a white man although as he states, “more women want to f— Tyrese than Jamie Dornan”:

“When there’s a hot part in town and the guys are reading for it, that’s just what happens. It was never like, “Is it going to be Ryan Gosling or Chiwetel Ejiofor for Fifty Shades of Grey?” And you know, black people f—, too. White women actually want to f— black guys, sometimes more than white guys. More women want to f— Tyrese than Jamie Dornan, and it’s not even close. It’s not a contest. Even Jamie would go, “OK, you got it.”

Yeah that’s something America definitely isn’t ready for — not unless it’s Quentin Tarantino serving it up in big overly exaggerated doses. Yes, white women want that black D but the white guys funding the film industry aren’t ready to get that real. Do you agree?

On crossing over race barriers in comedy:

“And you should at least be able to count on your people, and then it grows from there. If someone’s people don’t love them, that’s a problem. No one crosses over without a base. But if we’re going to just be honest and count dollars and seats and not look at skin color, Kevin Hart is the biggest comedian in the world. If Kevin Hart is playing 40,000 seats in a night and Jon Stewart is playing 3,000, the fact that Jon Stewart’s 3,000 are white means Kevin has to cross over? That makes no sense. If anybody needs to cross over, it’s the guy who’s selling 3,000 seats.”

On the racial progress made on Saturday Night Live:
“But there’s been progress. When I was on Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago, we did a sketch where I was Sasheer Zamata’s dad and she had an Internet show. Twenty years ago when I was on Saturday Night Live, anything with black people on the show had to deal with race, and that sketch we did didn’t have anything to do with race. That was the beauty: The sketch is funny because it’s funny, and that’s the progress.”

Chris Rock’s thoughts on Hollywood being a ‘white industry’ and what he thinks makes the best candidates to run the black division of a studio:

“It’s a white industry. Just as the NBA is a black industry. I’m not even saying it’s a bad thing. It just is. And the black people they do hire tend to be the same person. That person tends to be female and that person tends to be Ivy League. And there’s nothing wrong with that.”

On how he couldn’t have made Top Five in a studio:

“The best ones are made outside of the studio system because they’re not made with that many white people — maybe one or two, but not a whole system of white people. I couldn’t have made Top Five at a studio. First of all, no one’s going to make a movie with a premise so little and artsy: a star putting out a movie and getting interviewed by a woman from The New York Times. I would have had to have three two-hour meetings explaining that black people also read The New York Times. A studio would’ve made it like Malibu’s Most Wanted.”

These comments are what make us want to go see ‘Top Five’. Hollywood NEEDS to recognize that there are plenty of intelligent black people in America who are looking for content that is going to speak to us and our lifestyles. Everything doesn’t have to be a rap video.
