Unintentionally, of course. But still.

The reality star’s book features NEVER BEFORE SEEN self-portraits from her “her early beginnings as a wardrobe stylist,” Rizzoli publishing boasts.

It will also present, in all their epic glory, “some of Kim’s favorite selfies in one volume … from her favorite throwback images to current ultra-sexy glam shots.”

The book description also kompares the Kim Kardashian sex tape star to none other than Marilyn Monroe. Seriously. The two are totally on the same plane.

Tennessee Couple Arrested For Killing Popular Pastor

Via The Grio reports:

The family of a Memphis pastor found dead Saturday may finally have justice. The Prospect Park Missionary Baptist Church pastor, Don Smith, was discovered dead near a pond at Hickory Hill. His car was also missing.

Police spotted the car on Wednesday and pulled over Lashonda Williams, 24, and Roger Reed Jr., 23. Warrants for first-degree murder were issued for both of them.

Memphis Pastor Don Smith was shot and killed Saturday — and his family still doesn’t have any answers.

Smith’s body was found lying on Hickory Hill, beside a pond, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The family is still in shock.

“All we know is right now he was murdered and we can’t find the person who did it,” said family member Raymond Jones. “We’re still trying to put pieces together of what actually happened…of what caused his death.”

Smith, a pastor at Prospect Park Missionary Baptist Church in Whitehaven, spent all his time at the church or in the kitchen — warming souls with food and the Gospel.

A wake will be held for Pastor Smith on Friday between 4 and 7 p.m., and the funeral will take place on November 8 at 11 a.m. at the Golden Gate Cathedral on Saturday.

In a tragic twist, a mother suffering from a terminal heart condition has suddenly lost her husband, who was preparing for single fatherhood in the wake of his wife’s death. Now, with an uncertain future for her three children, Kina Webb-Owens is still pushing forward in search of a donor to try to remain here for her kids. Via WTHR:

A mother on a heart transplant list now faces an uncertain future without her husband’s support after he died in a car crash.

But what she inspired him to do before he died is now giving new life to other people.

“He is a good father, role model, stepfather, co-worker, great uncle, son, all of the above,” Kina Webb-Owens said of her late husband, Adrian Owens.

Adrian and Kina made plans for him to raise their three children – 16-year-old Kenya, six-year-old Adrianna and two-year-old Kyle – alone after doctors gave Kina some bad news about her heart.

“It’s how my heart beats and how irregular it is and the pumping and flow of it,” Kina said. “My grandmother and great grandmother had heart problems. My grandmother had heart disease and passed away at a very young age.”

Doctors said Kina’s outlook was grim.

“Didn’t give me long to live, but I am still here. Grace of God,” she said.

But the couple’s single-father plans took a heartbreaking turn last week. Kina got a telephone call on Tuesday about a crash on Fall Creek Road.

While driving to a second job, Adrian and a co-worker got into a head-on collision. Adrian died from his injuries.

“Even though the brain left, broken bones, his heart was still beating,” Kina said. “So they tested again when he passed away this past Wednesday and he wasn’t a match.”

Though he wasn’t a match for her, Kina was not about to let her husband’s life – let alone his unexpected death – be in vain.

“My kids, we stayed at the hospital through Wednesday and then Wednesday, they called his time of death,” Kina said.

As unplanned as it was, Kina, in need of a heart herself, made sure her family gave the gift of life by donating Adrian’s organs. It’s something organ donation workers hope more families will consider doing.

“The gift of life is far-reaching. It not only impacts that recipient, but their family, friends and it really is a ripple effect,” said Courtney Tillotta, a representative for the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization.

The ripple effect for Adrian’s organ donations is already rolling. An unidentified Indiana man now has his heart.

“Take good care of it. You are getting an awesome heart. It’s a hard-working heart,” Kina said.

And a heart that has given the same hope Kina holds onto along with her faith.

Eric Holder Blasts Critics In Newly Released Emails

Eric Holder, the first black Attorney General who recently resigned from office, is being outed for blasting some of his critics in emails. In one in particular a very frustrated Holder suggested “some people can kiss my a**.”

Newly released emails show Attorney General Eric Holder said that Justice Department prosecutors who were critical of the department’s handling of the fallout of the Fast and Furious gun-walking scandal could “kiss my a**.”

Operation Fast and Furious was a botched effort by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to track firearms across the Southwest border. Revelations about it created a political firestorm, leading to congressional investigations and turnover within the ATF and Justice Department.

The Justice Department selectively provided a batch of emails this week to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

The Associated Press obtained the emails on Friday.

In one email from March 2011, after being sent a news story about the Fast and Furious investigation, Holder told staff, “I hope there is another side to the story.” Later, after the ATF deputy director assured Holder aides that “we did not allow guns to walk,” Holder responded to staff with, “Do they really, really know?”

That August, Holder was told by staff that about 25 U.S. attorneys was upset that the resignation of Dennis Burke, then the U.S. attorney in Arizona, was announced simultaneously with the reassignment of ATF Acting Director Ken Melson.

Holder wondered “why wouldn’t we get the benefit of the doubt. Assume we’re doing things for the right reasons and in the right way.”

Holder later added, “Some people can kiss my a**.”

It’s obvious that the Attorney General was at his wit’s end over the gun-walking scandal.

Newspaper, magazine and TV offers have come flooding in from all over the globe after Victorian couple Aminah Hart and Scott Andersen told their incredible story on the ABC on Monday night.

The couple’s incredible romance has got more serious since Scott proposed while they were on holiday in Thailand with their daughter.

At the age of 42 newly single Aminah Hart made a decision that changed her life in a way that she never could have imagined, leading her to meet and fall in love with the stranger whose sperm she used to conceive her daughter.

At the time, the Melbourne professional wanted to have a child but had already suffered the tragic loss of two sons due to a genetic disorder called x-linked myotubular myopathy, a condition that affects muscles used for movement and occurs almost exclusively in boys.

Her first son Marlon, conceived with her former husband, died at the age of four months, while she was living in England, and in 2010 when Aminah was living back in Australia, Louis – fathered by a former partner – died at the age of 14 months.

‘You can’t really put it into words. I had two relationships and two children but it wasn’t until the second one that I got a diagnosis of the genetic disorder,’ Aminah told Daily Mail Australia.

‘It took me a long time to make the decision and I considered everything: my age, social status and that I carried a fatal genetic disorder… I had the understanding that I wasn’t a great prospect.’

Aminah decided to ‘give it one last go’.

The donor that stood out from the three was a man who described himself as ‘happy and easy going’ with a strong work ethic.

She had grown up without knowing her own father, having last seen him when she was just 11 months old, so she was keen for her future child to meet their father.

‘Scott said on his profile that he was happy to meet any child that was conceived,’ Aminah added.

Meanwhile, Aminah’s mother Helen had grown increasingly interested in who Leila’s father might be as her blonde hair and blue eyes were in contrast to Aminah’s West Indian appearance.

Despite thinking it wasn’t a good idea at first, when her mum became convinced she’d found Leila’s father Aminah decided to contact the agency and offer her details in case he wanted to get in touch or see a photo of his daughter.

Scott responded and the pair began exchanging emails, Aminah sent photos of Leila and by the time their daughter was one year old they had decided it was time to meet in person.

‘It was quite surreal that it was not uncomfortable. There was a little bit of romance born that night,’ Aminah remembered.

Aminah sees their relationship as a ‘beginning rather than a happy ending’ and calls it a ‘really beautiful chapter’ in her life full of ‘happiness and joy’.

Solange Knowles Set To Marry Boyfriend Alan Ferguson

Following in her big sister’s footsteps! Solange Knowles is set to marry her longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson in New Orleans this weekend, sources exclusively confirm to Us Weekly.

The 28-year-old DJ has kept her wedding and even her engagement to the video director a total secret. The nuptials will take place in near the home the “Losing You” singer shares with her 10-year-old son Julez in New Orleans.

Though much of the details of the event are being kept under wraps, Us Weekly has learned the weekend’s schedule.

Ferguson has been close to the Knowles family for years, presenting at the 2012 BET Awards alongside his future sister-in-law. He also attended events with Solange, being photographed as her date. In June, the couple visited Jamaica for Solange’s 28th birthday, with the DJ posting rare photos with her man.

It’s such an inflammatory and offensive word that for any high profile white person to publicly use it, without abbreviating to ‘N-word’, is rightly tantamount to professional suicide and personal opprobrium.

I don’t use it; would never use it. But it has become astonishingly ubiquitous in modern American society.

The reason it is so ingrained in pop culture is that many blacks, especially young blacks reared to the soundtrack of N-word splattered rap music, use it in an ironic way.

A racist California man got into a verbal altercation with two African American men in a McDonald’s parking lot…which quickly spiraled into a physical altercation that ended with him chasing them each down with his pickup truck, killing one, while screaming expletives and racial slurs. And let him tell it, it’s all the president’s fault. Via RawStory:

A California man claims he was defending himself last year when he ran over black man, killing him, following an altercation outside McDonalds.

Joseph Paul Leonard Jr. burned rubber for 23 feet before crashing into 34-year-old Toussaint Harrison during the June 6, 2013, incident, reported the Sacramento Bee.

Leonard, now 62, got out of his pickup and kicked Harrison several times in the head with his steel-toed work boots, authorities said.

“Just because we got Obama for a president, these people think they are real special,” Leonard said after his arrest.

He had been arguing with two men about 6 a.m. outside a Sacramento-area fast food restaurant, where prosecutors said Harrison and Justin Oliphant had been handing out food to homeless people.

Defense attorneys claim the men had stolen the food from a nearby hotel.

One of Leonard’s friends said the pair approached her outside McDonalds, and she said he “went crazy and lost his temper” when he came outside.

Leonard grabbed a chain from his pickup and confronted the men, the friend said, and surveillance video shows him swinging it around like a lasso over his head.

Oliphant said Leonard used racial slurs during the confrontation and stomped on Harrison’s bicycle.

One of the men threw a knife and broken bottle at Leonard, investigators said, who suffered a cut on his cheek.

The men fled on foot, and Leonard tried to run over Oliphant and rammed into Harrison outside a nearby auto repair shop.

An employee grabbed a metal bar from the shop and told Leonard to sit down and wait for police to arrive, and he did.

Leonard was quickly taken into custody, and he tried to justify his actions to sheriff’s deputies.

“This could have happened to your son if you had one out there,” Leonard said. “This got too out of hand for me, man.”

He claimed he feared for his life after one of the men cut him, although Leonard concedes he “became the aggressor.”

“I think people are getting tired of being abused by the situation, the way people are being,” he said. “I myself am tired of it. I am victimized every time I turn around.”

Leonard intends to testify during the trial, which resumes Nov. 17.

His attorney said Leonard plans to explain to jurors that he has previously been seriously injured but no one was prosecuted.

But prosecutors say Leonard has previously been a violent aggressor, although defense attorneys have asked a judge to exclude evidence from those cases.

Oh sure. He’s such a victim that he couldn’t just get in his car and DRIVE AWAY — he simply HAD to run these black men down because…Obama. SMH. Hopefully he ends up underneath the jail.

As we all saw on last night’s episode of RHOA, Phaedra may have plucked Apollo fresh out of the prison system, but she is certainly not “ride or die.” Many fans were critical of Phaedra’s decision to stay at a hotel and not even contact her husband on his sentencing day, so she took to Bravo’s blog to explain things from her own perspective.

Words cannot express the turmoil this situation has caused our family, and I can’t even begin to articulate how hard it has been. When you face a situation like this, you can choose to either break down or stay strong; I chose to stay strong because I have two young children that need a parent to give them stability and keep the ship sailing. I’ve been criticized for not being at Apollo’s hearing, but the truth is I had been there for him in so many ways for such a long time. By the time all of this went down, it was apparent the marriage was over and my focus needed to be exclusively on the wellbeing of our children. I don’t think there’s a parent out there who wouldn’t agree.

We guess that’s why she says Apollo’s declaration that he wanted out of their marriage came as no real shock:

I have been on such an emotional rollercoaster that there really isn’t anything that would have surprised me. After a while you reach a point where you are so numb that nothing fazes you anymore. And again, by that point my attention was exclusively on the children’s needs and doing everything I could to minimize the impact of this on their lives. My children’s health and happiness will always be center stage.
