Phaedra Parks Plans Sit-Down Interview With Ellen Degeneres

Phaedra is finally ready to give the real on Apollo’s crime & dirty dog deeds. Rumor has it that she’s giving a no-holds-barred interview in an upcoming appearance on The Ellen Degeneres show, and plans to give all the gimey details of the illegal activity and marital messiness that led the seemingly happy duo to prison and divorce. Via DishNation:

‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Phaedra Parks has remained relatively mum since her husband Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison in July, but Dish Nation has learned she will open up for the first time in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres later this month!

“I can confirm Phaedra will be doing an exclusive interview with Ellen DeGeneres on October 14 that will air on October 15,” the reality TV star’s rep, Steve Honig, told Dish Nation.

“She will be very candid about what happened with Apollo, her life now and plans for the future.”

On Sept. 10, Nida was ordered to check into the FMC Lexington prison in Kentucky but instead showed up unexpectedly to Parks’ home in a blind fury, leaving the Atlanta-based attorney shaken up.

Nida checked himself in the next day.

“Phaedra is eager to set the record straight and have a candid, no-holds-barred conversation with Ellen,” Honig exclusively told Dish Nation.

This is an interesting choice. Ellen Degeneres isn’t exactly known for hard-hitting interviews…do you think Phaedra really plans to get down to the nitty gritty of her and Apollo’s split in the middle of the day between games and dancing?

Fellas: Ever lay down with a lady so questionable you weren’t even sure a condom was enough? Well an Atlanta-based firm has just the answer for you. Peep the infomercial:

For millennia, mankind has been working on developing a smaller, more effective, less intrusive barrier method than the traditional condom. Yet one Atlanta-based manufacturer has managed to reverse the evolution of male contraception in one fell swoop with the Scroguard, a giant jockstrap that covers not only your penis during sex, but your pelvis and scrotum as well.

Basically, the Scroguard is a giant latex Mormon diaper with a little hole poked through for your member. It’s intended as a barrier method that “comfortably reduces skin-to-skin contact during sex in the genital areas not covered” by a traditional peen sheath.

To a certain extent, the Scroguard isn’t totally insane: Although condoms offer a fair amount of protection against STIs, it’s still possible to contract some STIs, like herpes, via skin-to-skin contact, even if a condom is being used. The Scroguard is also intended to be “lightweight” enough to not prove cumbersome or irritating during sex (though we can certainly imagine the sound of rhythmically squeaking rubber would serve as a form of contraception in itself.)

That having been said, the Scroguard is not FDA-approved, nor is it particularly sexy, unless you have a latex fetish and/or a particularly bad case of OCD.

Seriously, guys — if you have these many concerns about the pestilence and hellfire that could possibly be swirling between your partner’s legs…maybe it’s best to just keep your pants on altogether? Read a book or something instead.

It’s all starting to make sense!

Kim Kardashian and adorable daughter North West have emerged dressing relatively similar as of late, with the tot dressed to the nines in designer duds. Now, RadarOnline.com has learned, that the reason for the recent twinning is a result of a tailor that the Kardashian-West family has hired strictly for North!

“Kim has hired North West her own personal tailor whose sole job is to make mini versions of Kim’s designer outfits and ensure that they always coordinate,” a source tells Grazia magazine.

But that’s not all – the tailor not only cuts down the mini-me’s ensembles, but she also “styles” the little munchkin. That’s right, a one-year-old has a personal stylist.

“The tailor, who is also paid to work as North’s stylist, works with Kanye and Kim’s styling team to create the toddler’s personal looks.”

Last time we checked, toddlers aren’t necessarily the neatest – we’re thinking thrown food, stains, etc. – so it must be nice to have a personal stylist to design a bib among other kiddie clothes!

Lamar Odom Wants Another Season Of Reality Show With Khloe

Well, we have to hand it to Lamar — he certainly knows the way to a Kardashian’s heart. Exhausted of all other options (and income streams, it appears) Lamar has resorted to baiting his estranged wife back with the proposition of re-starting their KUWTK spin-off, Khloe & Lamar. Is hopping back into the limelight the answer to their MULTITUDE of issues? Via HollywoodLife:

Lamar Odom, 34, is reportedly changing his life and habits in hopes that Khloe Kardashian, 30, will reunite with him. Now, HollywoodLife.com has learned that Lamar thinks doing another TV show with Khloe “would be good therapy” and could “save their marriage.”

Lamar and Khloe starred in a reality show together, aptly titled Khloe & Lamar, in 2011 and 2012. We’ve learned that Lamar has told Khloe he wants to reunite and do another show together… as a couple!

“Lamar is chilling and not thinking about anything but getting Khloe back,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He’d do anything for her. Anything. He’d love to do their Khloe & Lamar reality show again now that he has the time. He wants that. He wants that for many reasons.”

Lamar thinks a show could help he and Khloe mend their complicated relationship.

“He thinks it would be good therapy for he and him and Khloe. He’s even brought this up to her too,” our source says.

“He told her doing the show this time around would show her and himself that’s he ready to be open and honest, to put his feelings and heart out on the table and to prove to her that he’s ready to be part of her world and her family’s empire that he once took for granted.” Wow — sounds like Lamar has really thought this through!

“Lamar’s serious, he thinks that this could save their marriage and make them a strong unit. And it would be an instant cash flow for them. He wants his team back — and by that I’m not talking about basketball, I’m talking the Khloe and Lamar team,” our source says.

Could the added stress of public scrutiny in front of reality lenses serve as good thearapy for these two…or is this just another Kardashian divorce disaster waiting to happen? Most importantly — would you tune in??

Scientists Say Germ-Blasting Robot Can Fight Ebola

We might not need to order protective gear or walk around in plastic bubbles quite yet. Texas scientists say many hospitals already have the key to zapping away the deadly Ebola virus before it reaches pandemic status. Via WTSP:

A local invention may turn out to be a key piece of technology in the fight against Ebola. It’s a robot used by hospitals to disinfect and destroy bacteria and viruses.

Meet “Little Moe” the germ-zapping robot.

“What’s inside here is a xenon bulb,” said Mark Stibich, PH.D.

That bulb emits powerful UV light, which fuses the DNA of a virus and kills it. This powerful technology is now being used in 250 hospitals across the U.S. Little Moe was developed in the Alamo City by Xenex. Its customers include the University Health System in San Antonio and the Dallas hospital where doctors are treating the first man ever diagnosed with Ebola in America.

Dr. Mark Stibich with Xenex said these robots can rid a hospital room of germs in 5 minutes and destroy Ebola on any surface in 2 minutes.

Dr. Stibich said while the Ebola virus is causing a lot of concern right now, he said, it’s not as big as a threat here as it is in Africa because of our superior health care and advanced medical technology.

That’s comforting and all…but how many hospitals actually have this??

Ohio Man Punches Baby In The Face Over Excessive Crying After Tryst With Child’s Mother

This story is an absolute shame and just goes to show that you cannot bring just any old person off the street around your kids. After hooking up with a woman in her home, an Ohio man got so frustrated with her baby’s crying that he punched the child in the face to quiet it down. Via The Smoking Gun:

After having sex with the mother of a one-year-old girl, an Ohio man allegedly punched the infant in the face after she “continued crying for her mother,” who was taking a post-tryst shower, cops allege.

Markeese Cummings, 24, was arrested Monday afternoon for felony battery and booked into the Lucas County jail, where he is being held in lieu of $75,000.

According to a criminal complaint, Cummings yesterday visited the Toldeo apartment of Simone Day, mother of the young victim. “Mr. Cummings and Ms. Day both informed this detective that they are sexual partners only,” reported Detective Lawrence Anderson.

Before having sex with Cummings, the 20-year-old Day moved the infant from her bed to the child’s own room. “After having sexual relations with Ms. Day, Mr. Cummings told this officer that the baby was in her room crying,” Anderson noted.

Cummings told the investigator that “he and the baby went downstairs to get something to drink.” The baby, Cummings said, “continued crying for her mother,” which caused him to lose his temper.

So, police charge, Cummings punched the baby “on the right side of her face with a closed fist causing serious harm.” The complaint does not further describe injuries suffered by the child.

Pictured in the above mug shot, Cummings’s rap sheet includes prior arrests for robbery, disorderly conduct, and underage drinking.

SMH! This dude is clearly an isht-crumb, to say the very least…but why is the mother having sex with some random in the house while her child is at home in the first place? THEN she left the baby under the same random’s supervision while she was preoccupied!

This is absolutely ridiculous. We hope that baby has a speedy recovery.
