“Saturday Night Live” is about to lose it’s most seasoned performer … Kenan Thompson will be leaving the show after this season … TMZ has learned.
Sources connected to SNL tell us … Thompson — the most tenured African-American cast member in the show’s history — planned to leave last season, but decided to stay after head honcho Lorne Michaels asked him to stay on … citing the show’s massive turnover this season.
We’re told Kenan has no hard feelings and is leaving on great terms. Our sources say he’s in talks for a new show and plans on moving to L.A. (with his wife and brand new baby) when the season ends.
We’ll miss you, DeAndre Cole.
Will you miss Kenan Thompson??

Last week, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was fined more than $11,000 and penalized for apparently using inappropriate language on the field. On Sunday, FoxSports offered new details on the incident.
Referees told Fox’s Jay Glazer that Kaepernick said the n-word during a skirmish with the Chicago Bears’ LaMarr Houston. Kaepernick denied any wrongdoing.
“It will be appealed,” he said, per the Associated Press. “I didn’t say anything.”
49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said that he had no reason to believe Kaepernick was lying.
The NFL did not respond to a request for comment.
The use of slurs in football has been in the spotlight this year. As the New York Times reports, the NFL had reportedly been considering a new policy to penalize the n-word. Under the proposed rule, which Sports Illustrated said was not formally adopted, players would receive a 15-yard penalty for using the-word on the field.
How do you feel about the (largely white) NFL front office trying regulate the language that (mostly black) players use on the field.

Poor thang!
Which “hip-hop celebrity” was spotted on the verge of tears after BET made several jokes at their expense during this weekend’s hip-hop awards? Several audience members took note and tweeted about this celeb leaving during the show because they were about to cry in their seat. Here’s a hint, perhaps it’s because they’re better known for their bodacious body and outlandish behavior than musical endeavors.
Hmmmm, any guesses?

The NFL is an insanely-popular multi-billion dollar enterprise with a serious and somewhat baffling domestic abuse problem among its 2,560 players. Of the league’s 32 teams, 21 have had a player accused of domestic violence this past year with Ray Rice as the official face of a deeply-troubling trend in America’s biggest (and most violent) sport.

The woman claiming to have 3 boobs is A FRAUD … A FAKE … and ironically what exposed her lie is a crime someone committed against her.
Jasmine Tridevil has been making the rounds, claiming she got plastic surgery to net her an additional boob.
But we got a document from the Tampa International Airport Police Dept. describing a baggage theft. According to the doc … someone stole a bunch of luggage off an American Airlines conveyor belt, including a black nylon roller bag.
Cops caught the thieves after IDing them with surveillance video. The black bag belonged to Tridevel, but before she got it back it was inventoried by police as part of the case against the crooks.
Guess what was inside the bag? “A 3 breast prosthesis.”
BTW … she told cops the prosthesis was valued at $5K.
The boobs are perfect, but she’s a little crooked.
What kind of mental issues do you have to have to buy a fake THIRD tidday and pretend it’s real??!?
Wendell Pierce is right — black men can’t afford to believe in post-racial America when their lives continue to be on the line.
If you missed “Real Time with Bill Maher” last Friday you missed a helluva show, particularly thanks to the brilliant actor Wendell Pierce who spoke eloquently about an incident when he was pulled over in Louisiana and had his life threatened by a police officer while driving with his toddler nephews in the backseat. If you missed the full episode it’s worth checking out as Pierce had a number of great points that he made, particularly on the topic of Michael Brown, Ferguson and the history of race relations in the U.S.
Ever wanted to try a side of meth with your taco? Well a food truck in Denver was apparently providing just that.

And you thought Doritos Locos Tacos were addictive.
On Monday, authorities in Colorado announced they’d shut down a meth taco sales operation in the Denver area, detailing charges against the 17-person drug ring they say imported the substance from Mexico in the floor of a Mini Cooper.
Agents relied on information gleaned from five wiretaps over five weeks and pulled 55 pounds of methamphetamine off the streets, worth an estimated $750,000, The Colorado Attorney General’s Office said in a statement.
Dealers peddled the drug out of a taco truck just west of downtown Denver. Attorney General John Suthers described the truck as a “brazen” operation, where “customers could literally walk up … and order a side of meth with their taco.”

Defiant to the end, Osama bin Laden’s son-in-law was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison for acting as Al Qaeda’s spokesman after the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Sulaiman Abu Ghaith was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan, who said he saw “no remorse whatsoever” from the 48-year-old imam.
“You continue to threaten,” the judge said. “You sir, in my assessment, still want to do everything you can to carry out Al Qaeda’s agenda of killing Americans.”
Abu Ghaith was the highest-ranking Al Qaeda figure to face trial on U.S. soil since the attacks. The Kuwaiti cleric became the voice of Al Qaeda recruitment videotapes after the 2001 attacks. He testified at trial that his role was strictly religious.
Just before he was sentenced, Abu Ghaith said through an interpreter that he “would not come here today and seek mercy from anyone but God.”
“At the same moment you were shackling my hands and intending to bury me alive, you are at the same time unleashing the hands of hundreds of Muslim youths,” he said. “They will join the ranks of the free men soon and very soon the world will see the end of these theater plays.”
As he announced Abu Ghaith’s sentence, Kaplan said that “as recently as 15 minutes ago, you continued to threaten.”
Defense attorney Stanley Cohen asked the judge to impose a 15-year sentence. A prosecutor called for life in prison.
Abu Ghaith was convicted in March on conspiracy charges that he answered Osama bin Laden’s request in the hours after the attacks to speak on the widely circulated videos used to recruit new followers willing to go on suicide missions like the 19 who hijacked four commercial jets on Sept. 11.
“The storm of airplanes will not stop,” the Kuwaiti imam warned in an October 2001 video that was played for the jury.
Jurors also saw frames of a video made Sept. 12, 2001, in which Abu Ghaith was seated next to bin Laden and two other top Al Qaeda leaders as they tried to justify the attacks.
Taking the witness stand in his own defense, Abu Ghaith calmly denied he was an Al Qaeda recruiter and claimed his role was a religious one aimed at encouraging all Muslims to rise up against their oppressors. He insisted he agreed to meet with bin Laden in a cave on the night of Sept. 11, 2001, out of respect for bin Laden’s standing as a sheik.
“I didn’t go to meet with him to bless if he had killed hundreds of Americans or not. I went to meet with him to know what he wanted,” Abu Ghaith said.
In asking for leniency, Cohen compared his client to an outrageous shock-radio host. The attorney wrote in court papers that Abu Gaith “faces the harshest of penalties for talk — and only talk — which is at times zealous, pious and devout; at other times intemperate; at still others, offensive to core values of humanity.”
In a submission seeking a life sentence, the government responded by calling the comparison to a radio host “as absurd as it is offensive” and accused the defense of trying to minimize Abu Ghaith’s role in promoting Al Qaeda’s deadly agenda.
“Abu Ghaith was a terrorist who sat alongside bin Laden on the morning of Sept. 12, 2001, celebrating the murder of nearly 3,000 innocent, men, women and children the day before,” prosecutors wrote.
