Brian McKee Denies Dating Momma Dee Because He’s Still Legally Married

Are they a couple or not? Inquiring minds are confused about the nature of Momma Dee and Brian McKee’s relationship, but the two recently offered some much-needed clarity.

After posting photos of the two together, Momma Dee had fans believing she and Brian were an item. However, he later told MadameNoir.com that their friendship is strictly platonic.

“I’ve gotten to know her. She’s a really good person, really down to earth and we really have become friends, but we’re not romantically involved,” said Brian who is still legally married to “Hollywood Exes” star Andrea Kelly.

“We’ve been talking and that sort of thing, but I’m really just going through my divorce with Drea. I’m not really seeing anybody like that,” he said.

Momma Dee reportedly responded to Brian’s clarification with one of her own, stating that she is in a relationship, but not with Brian.

Apparently, that development was relatively new…to Brian.

“She had to be honest with him and let him know that she is in love with another man and is not able to commit to him fully at this time,” a rep told MadameNoir.

Though it seems like things between Brian and Momma Dee—the alleged hook up and subsequent breakup—happened quickly, Brian said he’s learned about moving fast when it comes to romance.

In contrast to what viewers witnessed on “Hollywood Exes,” he recently revealed that he and Drea have been married for more than a year. He said the two wed just six days after they first met.

It seems like this guy leeches onto any woman with more than 15 minutes of fame. Can you say groupie??

Grandmother Kills 6-Year-Old Grandson

A Florida grandmother is behind bars after authorities say she told her 6-year-old grandson she had a “surprise” for him, locked him in a bathroom with her and stabbed him multiple times.

A grandmother accused of stabbing her own grandson is now behind bars.

In a statement released by a family attorney, Mason Rhinehart’s father shared a horrifying account of what happened inside that home, and he says it all started when Martha White told the boys she had a surprise for them.

Martha White arrived at the jail almost 24 hours to the minute after she is accused of stabbing her six year old grandson to death in the bathroom of the family’s Killearn Lakes home.

Deputies tracked her down at a nearby park.

Arrest papers say she was covered in blood and had a bottle of wine and some xanax with her.

6 year old Mason Rhinehart and his 8 year old brother Aidan were watching video games, it says, when White told them she had a surprise for them.

The older brother told detectives White took Mason into the bathroom and closed the door. He says he heard his brother screaming “Don’t kill me Grandma!” but when he tried to open the door it was locked.

In a statement released by a family attorney, the boys father Zack White said the brother called him and told him what was happening.

“I told Aidan to pound on the door just as loud as he could, he said. He yelled his brother’s name. When there was no answer I told Aiden to go and hide.”

Arrest papers say Aidan told detectives he saw his grandmother leave the house with a bottle of wine in her hand and told him she had a surprise for him too.

In a statement released by a family attorney, Zack White said his mother was a registered nurse who had recently retired.

She had no history of mental illness, the statement said, and had given no indication that morning of being upset or disturbed.

SMH @ her killing the child and then casually strolling off with her pills and wine.

American actress and comedian Joan Rivers, who in recent weeks has been defending Israel’s Operation Protective Edge in interviews, said in defense of her earlier pro-Israel rants that she didn’t want to hear about civilian casualties in Gaza, because “they started it.”

Rivers, who said last month that “you cannot throw rockets and expect people not to defend themselves,” said this week that “you’re dead, you deserve to be be dead. Don’t you dare make me feel bad about that” on camera to a TMZ reporter who told her almost 2,000 Palestinians have been killed in the past month. (Israel says 750-1,000 of the dead are Hamas gunmen.)

The reporter, who spoke to Rivers at LAX airport earlier this week about her previous remarks, received another rant in response — more controversial than the last.

“Oh my God! Tell that to the people in Hiroshima,” Rivers said with dramatic flair when confronted with the Gaza death toll.

“Good. Good. Ask Colin Powell. When you declare war, you declare war. They started it. We now don’t count who’s dead. You’re dead, you deserve to be dead. You started it. You started it. Don’t you dare make me feel bad about that,” she said.

She added, “They were told to get out. They didn’t get out. You don’t get out, you are an idiot. At least the ones that were killed were the ones with very low I.Q.s.”

Gaza’s Hamas government were “terrorists,” Rivers said, and were elected by a “lot of very stupid people.”

She said: “You can’t get rid of Hamas, you have to say you do not recognize them, they are terrorists.”

Of course the geriatric shock comedienne later back-tracked…

In a statement released Thursday regarding her exchange with the reporter, Rivers said her words had been “totally taken out of context.”

She clarified, “What I said and stand behind is, war is hell and unfortunately civilians are victims of political conflicts. We, the United States, certainly know this as 69 years later we still feel the guilt of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”

“Along with every other sane person in this world, I am praying for peace,” she said.

Uh huh. She had to backtrack after all that backlash, but we’re sure she meant what she said. What do you think of her comments?

Murder/Suicide Sparked By Risque Prison Letter, Condoms Found In Wife’s Purse

A boy’s innocent search through his mom’s purse sparked the jealous rage behind the murder-suicide of his parents.
One of Christina Belajonas’ small sons discovered a box of condoms in her bag, with her husband then digging out a local inmate’s salacious letter asking her for nude photos, a top police official said Friday.

Hot-blooded husband Keith, with a handful of his wife’s hair, shot her in the head before stabbing her repeatedly as their two sons watched, said Supt. Michael Chitwood of the Upper Darby, Pa., police.

“Had an argument. She was cheating on me. I won,” the remorseless Belajonas posted on Facebook after bolting the murder scene with the couple’s sons Robert, 5, and Christopher, 4.

The lethal confrontation in the family’s squalid suburban Philadelphia home began when Christina, 28, arrived in the apartment around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

The argument escalated quickly, authorities said.

Within an hour, cops found her lifeless body in the blood-spattered, second-floor residence and Keith Belajonas was driving toward Staten Island with the traumatized boys.

Belajonas, 32, shot himself in the head on a dead-end street in the borough about five hours after his wife’s slaying.

The couple was married for three years, and moved from Staten Island to Drexel Hill, Pa, in 2013.

The letter writer was apparently an inmate in a Pennsylvania jail, although he was not identified by authorities.

Jealousy is something serious. SMH. Hopefully the two orphaned boys will be alright.

Dr. Ben Carson A Potential Presidential Candidate

Dr. Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon and conservative political figure, just might be a contender for the 2016 Presidential race. Apparently Dr. Carson wowed a conservative crowd at a Republican Club meeting recently and they fervently urged him to put his bid in. Via PageSix:

We’re two years away from the next election for President of the United States, but the race is already heating up.
Among the contenders: Dr. Ben Carson, who gave it good to President Obama at last year’s National Prayer Breakfast — and who had more digs for the commander in chief last Wednesday at the Women’s National Republican Club on West 51st Street.

“People say to me, ‘Dr. Carson, you’d make a great president, but Obama has ruined it for another black candidate.’ I say, ‘He’s half-white, so I guess he ruined it for them, too.’ ”

Carson, who retired as director of pediatric neurosurgery at John Hopkins Hospital, gave a speech, answered questions from a crowd of about 300 and signed copies of his sixth book, “One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future.”

“A PBS reporter asked me, ‘How come you don’t talk more about race?’ I said, ‘Because I’m a neurosurgeon. When I open up a patient’s skull, I’m working on what makes him or her a human being — not his skin. ’”

Carson also had quips on several other subjects, including legalizing marijuana (“Data show it reduces IQ. We have enough stupid people. We don’t need to create more of them.”) and unions (“They will strangle the goose that lays the golden egg for that last egg.”).

The partisan crowd was hanging on every word, and urging Carson to run for president.

Family Sues Direct TV For Hiring Registered Sex Offender

Cable giant Direct TV is facing a lawsuit from a family who is livid that the company hired a registered sex offender who ended up taking photos of their 12-year-old daughter during an installation service visit.

A Dallas family has sued satellite television provider DirecTV after a man making a service call at their home was found to be a registered sex offender who took photos of their 12-year-old daughter, their lawyer said on Friday.

DirecTV said the man had absolutely no affiliation with the company and was brought to the house by a contractor, who has since been fired for violating company policy, spokeswoman Jade Ekstedt said in an email.

Wahren Scott Massey, 48, was arrested as a result of the August 2012 incident.

Massey pleaded guilty in October to attempted indecency with a child and attempted sexual performance of a child for the pictures he took of the girl. He was sentenced to four years in prison, according to legal documents.

The family said in court documents Massey went into a room where their daughter, who was 12 at the time, was alone. The daughter, who is a gymnast, was stretching and said Massey asked to take photos of her on his cell phone with her legs in the air, according to the police report.

When Massey left the room, the victim told her mother, who called police.

Officers performed a background check on Massey, discovered he had been a registered sex offender in Texas since 1998, and issued a criminal trespass warning.

Cleveland Hosts 9th Annual Gay Games

Thousands of athletes and fans are converging on Cleveland on Saturday for the opening ceremonies of the 9th Gay Games, bringing the international event to a state that has become a key battleground for gay marriage rights.

A federal appeals court in Cincinnati this week heard arguments on the constitutionality of same-sex marriage bans in Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee and Kentucky. Gay marriage supporters have seen a series of legal victories around the country since the Supreme Court ruled the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional last year.

Cleveland was selected in 2009 over Boston, Washington and other large U.S. cities to host the games, held every four years since they debuted in 1982 in San Francisco.

Games co-chairman Steve Sokany said he believes the selection of the Midwestern city was about changing hearts and minds and it has received unprecedented corporate sponsorship.

“The tide is turning and I think these games can have a tremendous impact,” Sokany said in an interview. “We are trying to change stereotypes.”

Public opinion in Ohio on gay rights has shifted over the past decade, reflecting similar changes in other parts of the country. Ohio voters adopted the gay marriage ban in 2004, but recent polls show a majority of Ohio voters support allowing same-sex couples to marry.

For those wondering, no, the “Gay Games” is not playing Twister with Michael Sam. In fact…

Organizers expect about 25,000 athletes, spectators and volunteers to gather for the games in Cleveland and nearby Akron over the next eight days, injecting an estimated $50 million into the local economy.

The competitions include a triathlon and a marathon, as well as softball, volleyball, darts, bowling and cheering. Figure skating is a crowd favorite, according to organizers.

The Games feature a wide variety of athletes – young and old, male and female and both gay and straight.

Wonder is Lebron James and Johnny Manziel will be making an appearance since this event is all up in their backyard. No pun intended.

Jewish Infants Contracting Herpes Via Rabbis Mouths Post-Circumcision

On July 22, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene revealed that two new cases of neonatal herpes had been diagnosed during July. One baby was found at 16 days old to have “pustular lesions on the penis and genital area,” and a 17-day-old was found to have “lesions on his penis, left foot, and left thigh.”

Based on the timing and the locations of the lesions, the male infants had contracted the herpes simplex virus during their Jewish circumcision custom, a bris, which occurs on the eighth day of life. Circumcisions are a standard—even beneficial—health practice. But each of these boys underwent a bris that followed an ancient ritual not widely practiced outside the ultra-Orthodox community.

Metzitzah b’peh (MBP), the orogential (mouth to genitals) suctioning of blood from the penis of an infant male following circumcision, poses one of the most unique and upsetting public health issues. While infants who do not undergo MBP can contract neonatal herpes, infants who do are 3.4 times more likely to do so, according to the New York City Department of Health. Since 2000, 16 cases of neonatal herpes have resulted from MBP in New York City alone, with three proving fatal and others causing long-term health effects, including brain damage. A practice that sounds immediately abhorrent and baffling to nearly anyone outside New York’s ultra-Orthodox community has forced a controversial clash of local politics, culture, and power.

MBP has been practiced for millennia with varying regularity among different sects of the Jewish community. However, in 1837, Chasam Sofer, a revered sage in the central and eastern European Jewish world, said oral suctioning could be stopped when it appeared to cause a public health crisis in Vienna. He stated that Jewish law did not state MBP as necessary for fulfilling the Jewish commandment of circumcision, and “even if oral suction had been mentioned in the Mishnah, we would be able to change it to another method which accomplishes the same thing, so long as we heed qualified physicians.” Other rabbis followed with similar rulings, and in many circles, MBP eventually fell out of practice for most Jews.

Jewish leaders have condemned the MBP practice, but apparently that has fallen on deaf ears.

Multiple religious authorities definitively stressed during the reporting of this article that MBP is not at all necessary to complete a bris. “The most fundamental precept of Jewish law is preservation of health, and life comes first. There’s no close second,” says Ben Hirsch, who was raised in Brooklyn’s ultra-Orthodox community and is now an advocate against abuse within the community. “The rabbis are obligated under Jewish law to defer to medical professionals, but they are refusing to do so, and infants are being maimed and killed.”

Most succinctly, Dr. Moshe Tendler, a microbiologist and professor of Talmud at Yeshiva University, wrote in a 2004 Pediatrics article: “The rule that’s above all rules in the Torah is that you cannot expose or accept a risk to health unless there is true justification for it.”

First and foremost, with all respect to Jewish tradition, that is just f*****g nasty. Secondly, why would you risk the health of an infant by showing them what that mouth do?

GAP Ad Featuring Super Skinny Model Causes Uproar

Clothing company The GAP has responded after receiving a huge amount of social media criticism over a recently ad featuring a very slim model.

A Twitter uproar was sparked Monday after the Gap shared a photo featuring an ultra-thin model.

The clothing company Tweeted out the photo of the woman modeling their plaid green shirtdress with the caption, “Dress up your days in pastel plaid. #since1969.”

Followers immediately began criticizing the model’s weight with comments like, “Seriously, @Gap? In what world do people look like this? Perhaps you could select models who represent regular gals & not a skeletor ghost.”

In response, the company issued a statement to media outlets.

“Our intentions have always been to celebrate diversity in our marketing and champion people for who they are,” Gap Inc. spokesperson Edie Kissko tells PEOPLE. “Upon reflection, we understand the sensitivity surround this photograph. Customer feedback is important to us and we think this is a valuable conversation to learn from.”
