Florida Man Threatens Mom With Machete For Giving Grandma Sugar
Via Daytona Beach News Journal reports:
A 34-year-old man threatened his mother with a machete earlier this week after he blamed her for putting his grandmother in the hospital.
Kevin Bolden was angry because he said his mother Kennetha Bolden had given his grandmother too much sugar, an arrest report shows. Bolden grabbed a machete he had stored behind his bedroom door and told his mother, “(Expletive), I’m going to (expletive) you up with this machete,” the report shows.
Police said Bolden — who lives with his mother and sister at the 900 block of Verdell Street — was also upset because his mother came home from the hospital, then went out to buy herself a soda. The incident occurred after 1 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Bolden, who was being held Wednesday at the Volusia County Branch Jail on $7,000 bail, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery.

On Saturday Ciara caught a flight for the occasion and was spotted looking noticeably thicker and dripping in Givenchy—-but no diamonds.

It seems Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are living a feud-free, simple life these days. The reality stars, both 33, reunited in Ibiza on Saturday, Aug. 2 at designer Riccardo Tisci’s birthday party, and appeared to pick up where they’d left off.
Kardashian posted a cute picture with her former heiress bestie with their arms wrapped around one another laughing.
“Reminiscing about the 1st time we went to Ibiza in 2006! @parishilton it was so good to see you & catch up!! Loves it lol,” North West’s mommy captioned the Instagram shot.Long before she became the world’s biggest reality star, Kardashian was Hilton’s assistant during her time on the hit reality show The Simple Life, and the childhood pals were inseparable for years. But in 2008, the notoriously opinionated blonde mocked her pal’s curvaceous backside in a radio interview, comparing it to “cottage cheese inside a big trash bag.”
Since then they haven’t been spotted together, despite Hilton issuing a formal apology. Earlier this month, the heiress played on the same charity kick ball team as Kardashian’s younger half sister Kendall Jenner, and they were photographed laughing together.

GOP Lawmaker Asks If He Can Join Black Caucus Because He Likes Rap Music
A Republican state legislator who has previously found himself in hot water over his Facebook posts about domestic violence, black women and mental health doesn’t seem to have refined his social media filter.

On Wednesday, New Hampshire Rep. Kyle Tasker expressed his disbelief that the conservative American Legislative Exchange Council had hosted the National Black Caucus of State Legislators at ALEC’s annual meeting in Dallas this week.
“How do I join the white caucus of state legislators?” Tasker asked, in response to a post by Jordan Ulery, a fellow Republican in New Hampshire’s state house.
“Caucuses are merely groups of people with similar likes/dislikes,” Ulery helpfully explained in response to Tasker. “Personally I long for the day of character, not color being again the guiding principle.”
“Yea that was kind of my point,” Tasker replied. “So what are the likes/dislikes of the black caucus that precludes white people from joining? I’m fond of rap music…”
Tasker then posted a link to a music video for “Country Grammar,” a Nelly song.
When The Huffington Post reached Tasker on his cell phone to discuss his comments, he quickly said “No, thank you” and hung up. He later sent an email to clarify his comments, saying, “There is too much division by race rather than by ideological belief.”
A New Hampshire progressive advocacy group said Tasker’s latest comments indicate he is “too immature to serve as an elected official.”

Thieves Steal $1 Million In Luxury Goods From Texas Home After National News Appearance
As the old saying goes, “a fool and his money are soon parted.” A former Texas beauty queen learned this the hard way after flexing her luxury items all over national news and attracting thirsty thieves to her home. Via MailOnline:
Just weeks after her luxurious ‘she cave’ became national news, someone has robbed former Mrs. Texas United America of nearly $1 million in jewelry, bags, and valuables.
Theresa Roemer said she and her husband were only gone 90 minutes for dinner at a country club just two blocks away, but they came home to broken glass and empty shelves.
The robbery bears all the markings of being perpetrated by a professional thief.
It appears the robber gained entrance by using a glass cutter to get into the bathroom. The intruder was likely small, based on the size of the hole.
‘I have 16 cameras on this house and there’s no footage of him anywhere around the house – nowhere,’ Roemer told the Montgomery County Police Reporter. ‘It had to be out that dark back corner of the house and out the back gate to the golf course.’
Surveillance footage recorded a small man dressed entirely in white and wearing gloves in the house, taking four trips to move all the goods outside.
The Roemers did not turn on their security system since they were only going a short distance, but did lock the house.
Theresa Roemer told police she saw an unfamiliar Hispanic man in his late teens outside her gate earlier, but assumed he lived in the neighborhood.
‘They took everything,’ Roemer said. ‘They took all my jewelry, all my watch collections, my husband’s watch collections, my Birkin collection. They literally walked out with between $800,000 and a million dollars’ worth of stuff.’
Well whose fault is that? Flexing goes wrong far more often than it goes well. If she had kept her business to herself, she’d still have all her Rolies and Birkins sitting right where she left them. SMH.

Guests included Ludacris’ girlfriend Eudoxie, Larenz Tate, Zendaya, Letoya Luckett and Ke$ha. The group enjoyed Mexican food, VEEV cocktails and Bottled Starbucks Caramel Iced Coffee while listening to Ludacris’ custom playlists on Beats Music.
Sounds like fun. Karma’s birthday is actually this week so we’re sure we can expect plenty more surprises.

Vanilla Ice Criticizes New Ninja Turles Rap
The New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie is bringing the classic 90’s cartoon/toy line up to date for a new generation. This of course includes the turtles’ rap theme song, which is now an EDM-themed collaboration between Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, and Ty Dolla $ign.
But Vanilla Ice, originator of the “go ninja, go ninja, go!” Ninja Rap has a few thoughts on the updated turtle theme. Via GQ:
That cartoon about crime-fighting mutant turtles eating pizza you loved as a kid is now, again, a live action explosionfest. And in the grand tradition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, there’s a new “Ninja Rap” about, well, crime-fighting mutant turtles eating pizza: “Shell Shocked” by Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, and Ty Dolla $ign. So we asked Vanilla Ice, the original rap ninja and guest music critic, to review the new track.
Vanilla Ice: “With respect to all of the artists, the song doesn’t really do it for me. It feels a little artificial—what I mean by that is that it sounds like a bunch of executives in the corporate world put it together. It really does not fit the theme of the Ninja Turtles legend. I think you have to understand, and be a true Ninja, to possess the Magic to really pull off the secret sound.”
Vanilla Ice was a walking commercial himself back in the day…but do you think he’s right about the “non-organic” nature of the heroes on a half shell and their new anthem??
